“I feel like I would have liked Miracle Day a lot more if they had brought in more elements of the Whoniverse as a whole. Seasons 1 and 2 were full of Doctor Who references, Children of Earth had Doctor Who references. Miracle Day, they mentioned Owen and Tosh and Ianto maybe twice each, and didn’t say anything else. We don’t hear about Martha, or Rhiannon, or even the Doctor. I think that that’s why I liked Miracle Day so much more before I saw the first three seasons.”
